Drama is a great way to meet new people, create lasting memories, and do something worthwhile. The drama department does three shows each year. The first show starts in the fall and is three acts long. The second show, held during the winter is the shorter, one act play. The third and usually most exciting show is the spring musical. For all shows you can either decide to be an actor who performs on stage, or a techie who runs everything behind the scenes. For the musical, however, you also have the option of joining the Pit Orchestra, which plays the music that the performers sing along to. If you decide that you want to join drama, then you should talk to Miss Janke, whose office is located next the choir room (room 173). Also, you can just go to auditions and meetings to get information.
