In addition to a comprehensive curriculum of over 200 regular and special education courses available to students that challenges them at all levels, Park Center offers students a wide range of extra-curricular activities in which they can participate. One of the most successful of these is the Park Center Drama Department, under the leadership of Kate Janke.
Park Center Senior High School is one of three senior high schools serving students from Independent School District #279 in Minnesota, USA. More than 1,500 students, grades 10-12, attend Park Center. Since opening in 1971, Park Center has been a vital school with diversity being a major asset of the school. The school has established a strong academic tradition, with Park Center graduates attending post-secondary schools from Harvard to Stanford, and Florida to Washington State. Park Center is known as a school where the staff truly cares about the students.
