What exactly can parents do with SchoolView?
Parents have online access to all of their child’s student info such as, attendance, grades, transcript, test scores and lunch account information.

How would a parent go about signing up for SchoolView?
Come into the counseling office anytime from 7a.m. to 3p.m., Monday through Friday. Must have a picture I.D. to receive access code and packet. Or if they have a child at either a jr. high or elementary school they can sign up there if that’s more convenient.

How do parents use/access SchoolView?
Use your preliminary access code to set up your user name and password. Then, either visit the site given to you, or use the link to SchoolView on the Park Center homepage.

Why should parents use SchoolView?
Because they can keep track of pretty much everything school related to their children, which is nice to know so they don’t have to wait until conferences to see their child's grades.

How often is it recommended parents use SchoolView?
At least every other week, or if you're student is struggling in school then weekly.

Currently about how many parents have signed up for SchoolView?
74 signed up at the most recent conferences, which makes it about 500 parents total.

How up to date are the grades/how often are they updated?
Grades are instantly updated on SchoolView as soon as the teacher updates them.

Any comments/complaints from parents?
So far the parents who are currently using SchoolView think it’s great to have all that information so easily accessible. A few parents had a bit of a hard time first setting everything up but they received help and are doing good now. One thing parents are excited about is the lunch account thing. There's a setting where you can be alerted when your child's lunch account balance is low, and you can even put money into their account online via credit card.

Any idea as to what percentage of Park Center parents have access to the internet?
If parents don’t have access to the internet at home or at work they are welcome to come to Park Center and use a computer in the CRC or wherever else available. Or they can always go to their local library and use the computers there.

Anything else?
Everyone should sign up for and use SchoolView regularly since it’s very helpful and provides a lot of useful information. Also, that parents should share their username and password with their children so they can also check their grades often.
