  • District 279 graduation requirements include one full year of science.
  • The University of Minnesota Institute of Technology admission requirements (which often indicate requirements at other similar institutions) include a full year of chemistry and a full year of physics as part of a four year science program in grades 9 - 12.
  • It is recommended that some technology education (i.e. Principles of Technology or Hennepin Technical College) be included if students are planning on going into a technical field.
