OALC Receives Red Wagan Award

award As further evidence that our little school does monumental things, we are pleased and proud to announce that the students and staff who mobilized and generously committed their time and talent to last year’s Invisible Children’s Campaign are the recipients of this year’s Minnesota Alliance With Youth Red Wagon Award.

The award reception was hosted by Lt. Governor Carol Molnau last night at the Governor’s residence in St. Paul. The award was presented to representatives of the OALC – namely Morgan Kingstedt – former fabulous English teacher who organized the effort and took the role of advisor to the students involved, Bri Rodgers - former student and integral part of the success of the campaign, and Mr. Hill, and Mr. Donovan, school leaders.

This award is presented annually to student organizations that demonstrate academic achievement, civic engagement, and/or exemplary leadership, and we are excited that the hard work and tireless efforts of Ms. Kingstedt, Bri, and her other students for the children of war and poverty were recognized by such an outstanding organization in such an honorable way.

Congratulations OALC!!!
