The Osseo Area Learning Center, through a team effort of students, parents, and staff members, strives to prepare today's student for tomorrow's challenges by providing a quality education and a positive alternative learning environment to help all students succeed in their careers and in their roles as a productive community member.
This spring, students from the Osseo Area Learning Center took a field trip to Feed My Starving Children. Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that provides meals to starving children all around the world. A single meal costs only 24 cents to produce, and 94 percent of total donations goes directly toward the food program. OALC students and other volunteers packaged 126 boxes of food, which means 27,216 kids will have a single meal or 75 kids will eat a meal daily for a year!
