WELCOME TO THE HISTORY OF THE WRIGHT BROTHERS

orville wright was born on august 19,1871 in dayton ohio, his older brother was born on april 16,1867.they own a bike shop.they first started getting interested in flying objects when their dad got them both a kite. they were amazed on how the kite flew in the air.so they made a airplane.

first flight

they flew their airplane on december 17, 1903, at kitty hawk, north carolina. they were the first people that flew a airplane sucessfully with a pilot in it. it was the first sucessful airplane.

in 1912 wilbur died from typhoid fever.orville continued flying until 1915 then sold his things to the wright company. then later he retired to serve on the national advisory committee for aeronautics

orville wright died in january 30 1948, age of 76 yrs about 38 years after his brother died
