Wakeboarding is a surface sport and you ride on a wake of a speed boat. It is a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing. Wakeboarding uses faster speeds then water skiing. the boards are typically 118 to 147cm long and up to 45cm wide. The wakeboard is the widest in the middle of the board. |

Wakeboarding boats are similar to water skking boats except,that a rope is tied to a tower or a pole but a wakeboarding boat has it 2 meters above the water line. They have large ballasts tanks so that it can make a large wave. The boats are called V drives becasue of the V it must make. the wake it makes is use as a ramp. |
