Our World-A Changing View
Over the last three years, as North View has been going through the changes of becoming an IB magnet school, our world community has been changing as well. Global competition for jobs and skilled workers is increasing daily. Our education system has choices to make. Sit back and do the same thing we have been doing, or change with the times.
The International Baccalaureate Programme at North View is leading the way when it comes to preparing our students for intercultural awareness and increased academic rigor. The type of work students are doing is increasing in complexity and difficulty. In order to compete in a global society we must prepare our students to be successful problem solvers at a higher level. The IB programme at North View is striving to do just that.
In order to show the public what we are doing at North View, we will be hosting an open house on a very grand scale. On Thursday, May 10 th from 3:30 –8:30 p.m. the school will present a showcase of students' work over the last year. The entire building will be buzzing with students' work, concerts, presentations, food from around the world, and interactive lessons. Please plan on attending this event so you too can experience OUR WORLD – A CHANGING VIEW, there will be plenty for young and old to see and do! We hope to see you on May 10th !
