7^th and 8^th grade parents: On April 15^th, 2010, your child will be taking the MCA II math test. This test allows your child to use a calculator on certain portions of the test. To ensure your child performs at their very best – we strongly encourage students to use their own scientific calculator on the day of the test. The math teachers want to make sure your child knows how to use the various buttons on the calculator, so please remind your child to bring their calculator to school daily beginning Monday March 1^st. If your child does not have a scientific calculator – they can purchase one from their math teacher for $12 (cash only please). Flyers will be going home with your child on Monday March 1^st.
