Multiple High Schools -
students who have attended more than one high school must submit a transcript from each
school.

Test Scores - must come
directly from the testing agency or appear on the official high school transcript. Mark
code 9999 as one of your college scholarship codes on your registration folder.

Final Transcripts - must
have proof of graduation (i.e. a graduation date).

Independent Study or Correspondence
Courses - are not accepted as core courses.

College Courses - may be
used to satisfy core course requirements provided the high school accepts such coursework
for any student. For Division I, the courses must be placed on the high school transcript.

Repeated Courses - may be
used only once to satisfy core requirements but the student does get the benefit of the
higher grade.

GPA Values -
*pluses or minuses do not count
*weighted honors or advanced courses do count toward quality points
*the best 13 core are used to compute the highest possible GPA

Nonstandard Tests - must be approved by the
NCAA by sending in the following:
*a copy of all test scores
*a copy of the application sent to the testing agency
*a copy of the professional diagnosis or IEP
*verification that the administrator of the test does not work in the high school or a
collegiate atheletic department

48-H Confirmation Form - this document sent
from the Clearinghouse to the high school is a complete listing of which courses listing
of which courses at that school are approved core courses and which are not. Students
should always verify that their courses are acceptable core courses.
