APPLICATION PROCESS

The faculty, staff and administration of Maple Grove Senior High School are pleased that you are interested in submitting applications for admission to college. This application is your opportunity to share information about yourself that you feel should be considered by the College Admissions Committee.

Read application instructions and application paper/online.
Look for Additional supplement, Counselor forms, and senior class schedule
Deadlines: Please be sure to check for admission deadlines when speaking with admission counselors. Students must have a complete file at the college by deadline dates.
Neatness and completeness
Follow directions (Do you need OFFICIAL ACT SCORES sent to your college?)
Supporting materials (letters of recommendation/Counselor School report, allow at least two weeks) Counselors/Teacher will be mailing letters directly to college.
Submit TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM to CRC(One form for every transcript you want sent) keeping in mind deadline dates. November 5th @ MGSH
Make a copy of your paper application/print a copy of your online application for your records.
Sign your application if applicable.
Processing Fee (1st Three Free, $3.00 thereafter)
All applications require a transcript; they can only be obtained in the CRC.

Approximately 500 students will request at least one transcript in the fall, most will request four. Don’t put it off! Do it early.

All official transcripts for scholarships and college applications must be obtained and mailed from Career Resource Center. Watch deadlines closely and allow a minimum 7 working days for your transcript to be processed in CRC.

* Due to increase demand and rising enrollment the CRC will now be accepting only transcript requests; students will be responsible for submitting all other materials. Our staff will be available to answer questions and assist you with form on a first come basis. So please be aware of the following information as you apply to colleges.

November 05, 2008 is the cut-off date for transcript requests to be sent by Winter Break…The transcripts will be processed in the order they are received. Transcript requests will be received after this date, but won’t be sent until school resumes in January, unless we complete all deadline requests, then we will continue in the order they were received.
