Certain colleges require an ACT plus Writing. Because you are not prepared to make a final decision on which colleges you will apply to we suggest you take the exam with writing.

Test Prepartion Options
- Preparatory classes for ACT are offered through Community Education. Registration and fee is handled through the Community Education Office.
- Full ACT practice exams are administered at MGSH in Oct, Feb, and April on the second tuesday of the month from 5:00-8:30. Sign up in the CRC.
- Free practice tests on MNCIS program. Stop by the CRC for directions on how to access the online exams

Helpful Links to ACT
ACT scores need to be sent from test center to colleges, you are responsible for seeing to it that the respective testing agency forwards your score, in a timely fashion, to the colleges to which you will be applying. You can request official report from the testing agency at www.actstudent.org/scores/send/index.html.
The ACT website www.actstudent.org/writing/index.html provides a list of colleges and universities that require or recommend taking the Writing Test. Students can also contact the colleges of their choice directly.
