BLING WINNERS: Today is the last BLING drawing. Students will have a chance to select a prize from the BLING prize case on the 2nd floor at the Media Center . Please report to the main office to pick up your coupon to collect your BLING prize. LUNCH ACCOUNTS: This is a reminder that there is no charging on your lunch account. You must have enough money in your account for your purchases. ALL DEPOSITS MUST BE MADE BEFORE 11:00AM. NO DEPOSITS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 11:00AM. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL:
If anyone is picking you up on Thursday, June 7th , make sure you tell them to pick you up on Noble Avenue . The entrances to our lots will be blocked off to passenger vehicles on Thursday morning.
Students should bring only pencils and calculator to school on June 6th and 7th . No bags of ANY type are to be brought to school. If you come with a bag, it will be searched and stored in the office until the end of the day.
Passes out of the classroom will be restricted during testing on June 6th and 7th .
All students will be required to leave the building immediately after dismissal on Thursday, June 7th . Students will not be allowed in the building after dismissal and must leave school grounds.
Additional police presence will be on the streets on the last day of school. Our expectation is that all students go home immediately after school. Please keep in mind that you represent Brooklyn Junior High in our community.
The school office and bus drivers cannot give you permission to ride a different bus home. Students will be required to take their regular bus home.
Students and staff are encouraged to use the money in their lunch accounts by the end of the year. Money left in accounts at the end of the week will be held over to the start of the next year. Refunds will only be issued to students who are leaving the district. If you will not be returning to the Osseo school district next year, be sure to see Mrs. Fairbanks in the kitchen as soon as possible. As people use up the money in their accounts this week, the lunch line is likely to be slower. Please be patient.
There will be no breakfast or lunch served on Thursday, June 7th .
- CELL PHONE ENFORCEMENT AT BROOKLYN JUNIOR IS AS FOLLOWS:
* CELL PHONES ARE NOT TO BE SEEN OR HEARD DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.
* IF YOU MUST CARRY A CELL PHONE IT MUST BE KEPT IN YOUR LOCKER DURING THE SCHOOL DAY.
* CELL PHONES MAY NOT BE USED IN THE SCHOOL BUILDING BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL.
- STUDENTS: REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR VOICE LEVEL APPROPRIATE FOR SCHOOL . YOU NEED TO BE USING AN INDOOR LOW LEVEL WHEN TALKING INSIDE THE BUILDING.THANK YOU.
- IF YOU ARE PICKING UP YOUR YOUNGER SIBLINGS AT BIRCH GROVE, YOU MUST PICK THEM UP UNDER THE WATER TOWER. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUNGER SIBLINGS, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED ON BIRCH GROVE PROPERTY. IF YOU ARE ON THEIR PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION YOU WILL BE CITED WITH AT TRESPASSING CITATION.
- Students are reminded that you need to ride the bus you are assigned to ONLY . If you are a "walker", you are NOT to be riding any of the buses. If you need help determining what bus you should be on, please see the main office staff.
- DISTRICT POLICY STATES THAT NO MEALS ARE TO BE CHARGED DURING BREAKFAST OR LUNCH. THE CAFETERIA OPERATES ON A PRE-PAY SYSTEM. MONEY NEEDS TO BE IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A MEAL. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT, YOU NEED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH A CASHIER BEFORE YOU GET YOUR MEAL. ALL DEPOSITS NEED TO BE MADE BEFORE SCHOOL OR AT THE END OF THE LUNCH LINE. NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE LUNCH LINES.
- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR COATS OR BACKPACKS DURING SCHOOL. PLEASE PUT THEM IN YOUR LOCKER. IF YOU ARE REPEATEDLY REMINDED TO TAKE THEM OFF THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED.
- WHEN YOU ENTER THE BUILDING YOU ARE TO REMOVE ALL HEADGEAR AND HEAD PHONES. THESE ITEMS ARE TO REMAIN IN YOUR LOCKER DURING THE DAY.
- IF YOU HAVE A MEETING WITH A TEACHER BEFORE SCHOOL YOU SHOULD REPORT TO THE FRONT OFFICE AND WAIT FOR YOUR TEACHER .
- STUDENTS PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR CLOTHING APPROPRIATE FOR SCHOOL !
GUYS: Do not wear muscle shirts, hats, do-rags or clothing that exposes underwear. NO SAGGING! No Pajama pants!!
GIRLS: Skirts and shorts must be longer than your outstretched fingertips, no clothing that exposes underwear or bare midriffs. Lasagna straps only, no spaghetti straps. No pajama pants!
REMEMBER IF YOUR CLOTHING IS INAPPROPRIATE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CHANGE.
- STUDENTS WHO STAY AFTER SCHOOL MAY NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING. YOU MUST REPORT DIRECTLY TO YOUR TEACHER OR COACH. IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND AN ATHLETIC EVENT YOU MUST BRING AN UPDATED PLANNER AND YOUR STUDENT ID TO ROOM 122 BY 2:50PM.
- After school bell: at 2:50pm every day. At that time students should be in their assigned class or after school activity. If you are in the hall you will be escorted out of the building. Teachers & Coaches DO NOT allow students to enter after 2:50 pm.
- Students you will not be allowed to wait in the front entrance before school please wait in the South café entrance.
