Models

Early Childhood Special Education involves home-based and community-based service by a visiting early interventionist (ECSE teacher, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech/language pathologist, etc.) Services are provided for two to four half-days per week at a school site, including center-based ECSE classrooms. Services may also extend to community nursery schools, with consultation from an early interventionist.
