ISD 279 Volunteers
Uniting Communities of Excellence!

The mission of volunteer involvement in ISD 279 is to build community, support student success and inspire people to excel by encouraging parent, student, and community involvement through meaningful volunteer work in our schools.

April is a wonderful month to take the time to THANK our parents, grandparents, and members of the community for their continued support! Volunteers are an important asset to our community.

In 2010-11, ISD 279 had over 5,700 volunteers who contributed over 155,000 hours of volunteer service by:

Reading to Students
Classroom Assistance
Field Trips
School Events
And much, much more!
