Welcome to Weaver Lake Elementary !!
Thank you for volunteering !!

News from the Volunteer Coordinator:

As always, we are busy around the building. We have begun working on the Arts and Academic Expo. Mark your calendar for this event – It will be held on Thursday, May 1st!! This will be our 6 th annual and we're looking at making some fun changes! Our theme this year is, “Let's Celebrate Life!”. Watch your Wednesday Envelopes for more information.

Another new month will also send Willie on an adventure to a different country. The students can be seen daily checking out the Where's Willie wall and guessing where they think he may be. Clues are also being provided on WVRK and sometimes in the Woodchuck Word. We have many wonderful things to offer the kids here at Weaver Lake and I am grateful each day for all the parents that give so generously of their time to help us out. Our little Woodchucks are lucky to have you!! Thanks so much!! If I can help you out in any way please call me at #391-8873. I have also begun to e-mail “peeks at the week” to our volunteers – if I don't have your e-mail address and you would like to receive these, please let me know.

We want you to know that “one volunteer can make a difference”. Pick up your magnet thanking you for making a difference. Your energy and love for Weaver Lake shows daily and we appreciate you! We will be celebrating you at our appreciation lunch on Friday, May 16 th . I'm already looking forward to spending an afternoon with you all. You are an amazing group and I am lucky to be a part of all your efforts. Thank you!!!
