- Facilitate communication between all groups and individuals
- Encourage acquisition of the knowledge of best teaching practices and implementation of promising educational innovations
- Provides a structure for decision-making
- Facilitates the development of school improvement goals which are unique to our school
- Ensures that decisions made throughout the school follow the Vision / Mission / Goals of Weaver Lake
