The Media Center at Weaver Lake is a great place. There are thousands of books that children can check out and enjoy. There are two main sections, fiction and nonfiction, with an everybody section in both areas. Adjacent to the media center are two Compaq computer labs

Students visit the media center either with their teacher or on their own. Students can check out two books at a time for a two week period of time. The media center is a very busy place, especially at the beginning and the end of the day. Students are returning books and checking out more books. The media center is open to students from before school until 3:10 P.M. Parents are welcome to visit the media center, and we are always looking for parent volunteers to help shelve books.
