Students in 6th grade participate in the D.A.R.E. program.   D.A.R.E. is a 10-week program that teaches students strategies to resist drugs and alcohol.  Each week a uniformed Maple Grove Police Officer visits each 6th grade room to teach these lessons.  The D.A.R.E. program ends with a graduation ceremony.
