WVRK

  
         
  Weaver Lake televises our morning announcements on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. We have developed a fictitious television station called WVRK.  Our televised morning announcements give each fifth grader the opportunity to be in front of the camera presenting the news as well as working behind the scenes with the camera, lighting and cue cards.  This program was designed to incorporate technology and public speaking skills and has been a huge success.
