Maud Hart Lovelace Children's Book Award
Every year since 1980 students (3rd - 8th grades) in Minnesota can choose to participate in the Maud Hart Love lace reading contest. A committee made up of teachers and librarians select the titles for the contest each spring and students read the books on the list during the following school year. In March the students vote on their favorite book from the list. The winner is annouced on April 25th.
