The End of Another School Year

The 2009-2010 School Year comes to an end on Friday, June 11^th. This will be a full day of school with dismissal at 3:20. Grade 6 commemoration will be at 2:00pm in the gym.

CAMP ROCKS! will begin on Monday, June 21^st.

These are the dates for classes, which will run between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.:

June 21-24
June 28-July 1

NO Camp July 5-8

July 12-15
July 19-22

The Open House for the new school year will take place on Wednesday, September 1^st between 5:00 and 6:30pm. A letter with bus schedules should go out to parents in August. A supply list for next year can be found here .

A Visit From Bobby Bell

Palmer Lake fourth graders had the great privilege to hear former NFL star Bobby Bell, a member of both the College and NFL Halls of Fame, speak to them about how to be successful in school and their lives. He talked to them about setting small goals that students can reach and once they reach those goals they set new goals and work towards them.

He also shared his personal experiences of what it was like to grow up in the American South during the 1950's and 1960's.
