* As an option for families, a monetary donation may be made to Oak View's PTO as an alternative to fundraising.
Fundraising is an important part of the PTO. The funds we raise help provide school-wide enrichment programs, paraprofessional positions and school support materials that might otherwise be eliminated due to budget constraints. We also use these funds to provide family fun events and services to the students and families in our school community. The items listed below are just a few ways we use the dollars that you help to raise to support our school:
- Funding toward designated class trip or activities
- Volunteer Coordinator position
- Technology paraprofessional position
- Media Center materials (such as AR Quizzes)
- Academic Education Support Paras
- School beautification
- Transportation for field trips
- Programs
- Computer supplies such as head phones, toner, etc.
- And many, many more.

* Kemp's - Give 'Em Five & Land O'Lakes Nickels for Schools - Collect the specially marked caps and proof of purchase symbols from Kemp's and Land O'Lakes products.
* General Mills Box Tops for Education - send in those Box Tops!
* Food Perspectives Taste Testing
* Target Take Charge of Education - use your Target VISA to specify dollars for our school
