Leveled reading will also be part of reading instruction.
Math: This year’s new math series is called “Math Expressions,” from the Houghton Mifflin Co. The students will be bringing home Homework sheets to complete on most days. Please help your child with these as needed and return them signed the next day. The sheets are all two sided. Unit letters will be sent home at the beginning of each unit, and the completed workbook page for the lesson that day will accompany the Homework sheets. There is also a Houghton Mifflin web site that has practice games at: http://www.eduplace.com/kids/mthexp/g3/egames.html
