Minutes for Oct. 5, 2006 approved

• Membership Vacancies

Pang Vang a Kindergarten parent may be interested in filling a Site Council position.

Betsy will contact her and find out more.

• School Improvement Plan

MCA scores are still not out, but preliminary information shows Garden City as making Safe Harbor in all areas except Hispanic Reading.

RIT score overall results reviewed.

Review of last year goals.

Review new goals.

1. Improve reading skills of all students with a focus on closing the gap between LEP and others.

2. Increase parent and community involvement.
