Oct. 5, 2006

• Welcome and Introductions

Members present: Todd Tischer, Henry Yang, Amy Watkins, Betsy Eernisse, Michelle Leopoldt, and Nancy Martinsen

• Approval of Minutes

Minutes for April 6, 2006 approved

• Membership Vacancies

We need two more parents for Site Council

Amy will take to PTO for nominees and election

Michelle will remain on Site Council, dates of meetings will be changed to allow for her continued participation.

• Matrix and Blaws

Matrix and Bylaws were reviewed. Revisions made last spring. No further changes needed.

• School Improvement Plan

School improvement Plan is in progress. MCA scores will not be out until Nov.

Final plan will no longer be due in Oct. but an extension will be given

Community goal is in the first of a two year goal thus we will continue with this goal

We also need an academic goal.

We should have a draft by Halloween time

• Compensatory Funding

Most compensatory money was allotted last spring with some allotted this summer

There is currently .5 FTE funding remaining to be spent.

It will most likely be directed towards ESP or instructional areas

• Strategic Planning Team

Susan Hintz is looking for representatives. Volunteers need to fill out an application

• Parent Representatives

DPAC: One parent is needed

Human Sexuality Advisory Committee: One parent is needed

Building level Re-evaluation Committee: Two parents are needed
