May only need 4-5 meetings this year: most likely in Nov. Dec. Jan. March & April

Meeting time established: 4:30pm

Compensatory funding:

Pre-allocation in spring, actual allocation was increased to 7.9 FTE (District is generating more $ due to growing diversity)

Point is to narrow focus of school objectives to 2-3 total

required by state

Review last year’s plan

ELL inclusion model was/ is particularly powerful -we must continue to advocate for this model

Math voc. alignment and review as well as quartile identification powerful

overall GC progress great

New Site Plan

Continue ELL focus

Focus on LEP reading- need to see 1.5 years growth

Hispanic scores are low-if we meet a cell size this may be a problem

Increase parent and community involvement

Free and reduced lunch is up from 68% to 72%

Volunteer hours for 2004 best ever

DPAC is a committee of parents that advise the district on curriculum

GC needs a parent rep.

Turn charge over to PTO to find a parent rep.
