All library Books are due back to the Media Center by Friday, May 23rd .
If your student has lost a library book, we ask that the book is paid for in full. Your student will NOT receive the Fernbrook Memory Book if there are any outstanding library fees.

Book Adventure
Book Adventure is a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes. Book Series – From Penguin Group
Series of books by a specific author are a great way to motivate students to keep reading. This website gives descriptions of the characters, genre and a synopsis of the series. http://us.penguingroup.com/static/html/youngreaders/series.html
Barnes and Noble Summer Reading
One last resource is the Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program. Students read eight books and write down their favorite part of the story. When you bring your list in to any Barnes and Noble store, they will give you a coupon for a free book to be chosen from selected titles listed on the coupon.
