Just Read 2007-2008

Welcome Back to “Just Read!”

This is the tenth year of our reading incentive program “Just Read! 15 for 5”

This year, our students will begin reading on November 1, 2007 and the first give-away will take place in December. The students are asked to keep track of their leisure reading time on a tally sheet and return it to their classroom teacher before each give-away date. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to read aloud to their students, this time together can be tallied also.

The “Just Read! 15 for 5” program was created to offer books instead of “food incentives” for leisure reading. The Fernbrook PTO and parent volunteers are the key to the success of this program. The PTO Book Fair profits go to Just Read! each year to buy books to give back to our students.
