Job Description: Collate, count, cut, color or sort
classroom materials. Supplies and equipment are furnished and may be sent home with
a student or picked up at school.
Time Requirement: This will vary depending on the project.
Qualifications and Training: Complete instructions will be given by the
Volunteer Coordinator or teacher.
Job Description: Stuff correspondence into weekly Wednesday brown
envelopes for
Grades K - 2
Time Requirement: 1 - 2 hours weekly.
Qualifications and Training: Training will be done by the Volunteer Coordinator.

Classroom Assistant 
Job Description: Assist the teacher in the classroom by doing various tasks. This could include helping with reading or math, special projects or a variety of other tasks assigned by the teacher.
Time Requirement: This would vary depending on the teacher and the need.
Qualifications and Training: Instruction will be given by the classroom teacher.
Job Description: Assist in the Media Center with sorting and shelving of books and magazines.
Time Requirement: 1 - 2 hours a week.
Qualifications and Training: Training will be provided by the Media Center para.

Popcorn Patrol

Job Description: Use school popcorn popper to make popcorn for
class incentives and parties.
Time Requirement: One morning a week. We pop on Tuesday and Friday mornings. This may be done on a rotating basis.
Qualifications and Training: The use of the popcorn machine will be explained by the Volunteer Coordinator. You will enjoy this fun and delicious job!

Publishing Center

Job Description: Laminating materials, i.e. books, posters and special
projects, binding books and button making.
Time Requirement: Two volunteers are needed 1 - 1 1/2 hours each Wednesday morning.
Qualifications and Training: Training will be done by the Volunteer Coordinator. This is a great way to meet others, while providing a much needed service.
Job Description: Punch Shapes out of paper at Edinbrook
Time Requirement: This will vary depending on the project.
Qualifications and Training: The VOLUNTEER Coordinator will provide training.
Job Description: A relaxed gathering of VOLUNTEERS who enjoy "busy work". This might include cutting, pasting, die cutting, putting up bulletin boards, etc.
Time Requirement: Tuesday or Thursday morning. Come one or both days, skip a week. Open and flexible.
Qualifications and Training: Like to have fun and socialize with other VOLUNTEERS!
