  • Strategies and tips for working successfully with Liberian students and parents

 

Speaker Bio: John S. Flomo, Jr.

I was born and raised in Liberia. I graduated from the Wells Hairston High School in Monrovia in December 1989 and Matriculated to the University of Liberia, where I spent a semester and then the war interrupted normal activities in the entire country.

I currently work as the Coordinator for Multicultural Affairs at the Northwestern Health Sciences University and I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota with major in Educational Policy and Administration (Higher Education) and minor in International Education.
