Cedar Island Character Education Pledge

Color days will be the first Wednesday of each month:

During color days we encourage staff and students to wear the designated color which corresponds with the character trait we are focusing on. This activity is another way to reinforce what we have been learning through our Character Education program at CI.

RESPECT: October 3 and November 7- yellow

*Yellow reminds us of the golden rule

CARING: December 5 and January 9*- red    (* second Wednesday)

*Think of a heart

HONESTY: February 6 and March 5- blue

*Think “true blue”

RESPONSIBILITY: April 2 and May 7- green

*Think of being responsible for a garden or finances; or as in being solid and reliable like an oak tree.
