Megaconference Sr. VIII via Internet 2 November 2, 2006 @ Fernbrook in Room 13 We will view it live from 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Breaking Down the Barriers: Global Connections The event runs from morning until evening (EST) that day, to allow participation from around the world. But you can be there as long as you wish. Here are some of the Interactions under consideration: * Cell phone tour of the Chateau de Chillon on the Rhone River, Switzerland (8:00 am!) * Eye to Eye communications * The ever-popular Global Roll Call will return, where each participant will get a moment of fame to say hello to the world, sing the school fight song, or do whatever they like. People do very imaginative things! * Megaconference Choir * Orville Wright re-enactment w/ K12 class * Read around the Planet - students in Alberta, Michigan and the UK read to one another. |
