Two Opportunities to Get Involved in This Year’s Legislative Session

logoISD 279–Osseo Area Schools is offering two opportunities for parents, staff, and community members to get involved and make a difference in this year’s legislative session.

Monday, January 7, the MN Senate Education Committee will visit Edgewood Elementary to learn about ISD 279’s programs and needs.
Wednesday, January 9, the Parent Legislative Network will have two guest speakers to discuss how to work with the legislature.

Osseo Area Schools’ Technology Leadership Team Wins Statewide Leadership Award

TICT teamThe Technology Integration Collaborative Teachers (TICT) Team of ISD 279-Osseo Area Schools decided three years ago to transform teaching and learning by coaching teachers and supporting them in creating more interactive learning environments. Since then, this highly effective initiative has reached more than 330 teachers and 15,000 students, and continues to grow.
