Parade of Schools Celebration Offers Tours of All District 279 Facilities

Osseo Area Schools will mark the completion of five years of construction, and formally thank the community for passing the May 2000 bond referendum with a celebration called Parade of Schools.

Community Café: Conversations About Our Future
District 279 is beginning a comprehensive strategic planning process this fall. It is important to solicit ideas from community members to help shape our future and we'd like you to be part of the discussion. You are invited to attend one of two upcoming “Community Cafés.” Please RSVP by calling (763) 391-8639 to reserve your place today.

Upcoming sessions:
> 10.26.06 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Osseo Senior High School Cafeteria
> 11.01.06 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Maple Grove Senior High School Cafeteria

A Community Café was held on September 13 at Park Center Senior High School. Approximately 100 people attended including high school students, community members, and school staff. The strategic planning team will take ideas and thoughts from the Community Café events, and look for common themes in shaping our future.
