Community Education sponsors Travel & Adventure Film “Gulf Coast Adventure: Still Wild & Beautiful” with Jodie Ginter on Thursday, September 20 in the Osseo Senior High Auditorium at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. An optional Brats & Sauerkraut dinner (advance ticket sales only) is also being offered from 5:00-6:45 p.m. in the Osseo Senior High Cafeteria for $6.50 per ticket.

Welcome Back Celebration
I love the first day of school and it seems that every year is better than the last. This year is my favorite one so far. I was actually able to enjoy two ‘first days.’ On August 27th I welcomed our employees and on September 4th I welcomed all of our students.

North View Junior and Park Center Senior are Accepted into International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP)

Child On August 17, 2007, North View Junior High and Park Center Senior High received notice that their application to participate in partnership in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) was accepted with immediate effect. The schools are now authorized by the IB to offer this programme and were welcomed by the IB headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland. They are confident that all the staff and students in the programme at North View Junior and Park Center Senior will find the experience with the IB to be as rewarding as others have discovered in the past!

Garden City Elementary Receives Grant for Innovative Technology Integration Program

tech training lab Qwest and the Minnesota High Technology Foundation/ Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTF/MHTA) are pleased to announce that Garden City Elementary in Brooklyn Center has been awarded an educational grant to fund technology-based curriculum.
