The National Association for Magnet and Theme-Based Schools, regarded as “the leading source for information on excellence in public school magnet programs,” turned its spotlight on Birch Grove Elementary School for the Arts in Brooklyn Park.

Community partners help fill backpacks for kids

Thanks to all terrific corporate and community volunteers who are helping ensure that children start school well prepared.

Recent donations include:
Edinbrook Church donated 125 backpacks for students in need at Edinbrook Elementary, surpassing their original goal of 100.

Target Corporation volunteers held a backpack drive and contributed 75 filled backpacks that were distributed among Edinbrook Elementary, Zanewood Community School, and North View Junior IB World School.
