Message From The Superintendent
We are Ready for Your Children!
Here’s a message parents will be happy to hear: we are ready for your children! Hopefully, the whole community has started counting down and getting ready for the first day of school. The District 279 Technology Integration Initiative: Empowering Teachers and Students to Learn and Achieve
Is there a perfect recipe for effectively integrating technology into instruction? We certainly think there is. Research shows that technology integration improves academic success, so we developed the Technology Integration Collaborative Teacher Initiative or TICT. Each year up to 90 teachers are selected to join the TICT cadre—these teachers are trained for the express purpose of effectively integrating technology into their curriculum. They are also expected to share their knowledge with their colleagues.
