Legislative Platform
As the Minnesota Legislature gears up for the 85th session, school districts across the State are grappling with the toughest financial and policy issues in years. Osseo Area Schools and other districts will have an opportunity to share these issues, or platform, with lawmakers after the session begins on January 3.

Woodland Students Awarded Teddy Bear Band Concert
The Teddy Bear Band is coming to Woodland Elementary! The Woodland Elementary Student Council led a cereal box collection contest sponsored by Radio Disney and Green Guardian. Schools around the area were invited to collect cereal boxes and Woodland collected over 400 more than any other school! They will be working with Radio Disney to schedule a free concert for their school! Once again, great things are happening at Woodland!
MN Music Educators Association Announces Composition Contest Winners
The Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) has just announced the statewide 2006 MMEA Composition Contest winners. Two of the Woodland Elementary 4th grade compositions from last year were awarded 3rd place (a tie) in their division.
