TICT Initiative
~ Requirements
- Complete the Application between April 21 – May 9, 2008.
- Complete no fewer than 15 hours outside of contract time (15
hours of this time may be applied to one District 279 Board Credit).
These 15 hours will include all of the following:
- Attend 2-3 hours of equipment training in August, 2008.

- Attend 3-4 hours of Structured Learning Sessions by April 3, 2009.
- Present a 15-60 minute presentation (“Show What You Know”) at
a staff, TAT, PLC or other team meeting once during the school year.
- Spend 8 hours learning a variety of new technology concepts.
- Collaborate with TICT at a minimum of one time.
- Create an Implementation Plan.
- Attend a ½-day technology integration session (subs provided).
- Integrate new technology into your teaching.
- Track workshop attendance and technology integration (Time Tracking Table).
- Complete a pre and post survey regarding the TICT Initiative.
- Be responsible for care and security of the equipment.
Cadre IV requirements need to be completed by May 1, 2009.
For the 2009-2011 school years, Cadre members will:
- Maintain a coach/mentoring relationship with the TICT Initiative.
- Complete a pre and post survey of continued effectiveness of the TICT Initiative.
- Be responsible for extended care and security of the equipment.
