Who is eligible to participate?
The flu shots are scheduled each fall for ISD 279 employees and their families. Homeland Health provides vaccinations to patients ages 3 and up. They are an in-network provider for Medica, BCBS, HealthPartners, Preferred One, UCare, America’s PPO, PrimeWest, South Country Health Care Alliance and Medicare. They can bill any of these health plans.
For employees, spouses, and/or dependents who are not covered by any of these health plans, flu vaccinations are available for $25.00 for injections and $35.00 for FluMist; cash or check only.
You don’t need to sign up in advance, but you will need to show your insurance card and fill out a form at the time of your shot. If it is the first time you have had a flu shot, you will need to plan on staying a little while after the shot to make sure you don’t experience adverse reactions.
