American Indian Education serves American Indian students by developing their understanding and appreciation of Native American heritage. The secondary program focuses on preparation for post-secondary education. Home involvement in schooling is enhanced through the American Indian Parent Group.

Tickets for Elementary Indian Education Families!

I have twenty tickets for families to attend the Americans Indians in Science event for free at the Minnesota Science Museum in St. Paul!

The event takes place on Saturday, March 27th 2010 from 1-4pm. A wide variety of presenters will be on hand to share their areas of expertise through hand-on activities and displays. And if you have some extra time, check out some other cool things the museum has to offer.

Won’t you join us on this star-gazing event? Betty Jane Schaff with Alliance of Early Childhood will share two star stories about the Big Dipper: The Dakota story about the “Star Maiden” and the Ojibwe story about the “How Fisher Went to Skyland.” Click here to see the postacard.
